MAR kawasaki is now located in central Europe in Hungary. From there in its moden building and workshop, its owner and Ex BSB Racer Malcolm Ashley, is capable of building and supplying all things for your ZX10R.

Kawasaki exploded onto the racing sceen and the Superbike class in 2004 with a New Bike that simply took the paddock by storm.. From the 1st evolution of the 2004 bike right through to the Ultra Missile the New ZX10R 2011 Ninja the mission for Kawasaki was the same, build a good bike for the track, the latest Evolution is the perfect example of a 'Racing bike for the Road'. It will win Races at every level.

Malcolm Started Racing in 1994 and over the last 2000 years has competed at many levels on many types of bikes. From the Suzuki RGV at the begining to the Super Fast kawasaki ZX10. He has raced in the uk and competed in Spain too.

Malcolm was (in more recent times), a l'ong time' privateer in the BSB class for some 5 years, and has held a seat on the table at the top level of Racing in Superbikes at BSB. Offering advice and assistance from a 'racers point of view' and is in some ways also responsable for the new rules and the final specification for the exciting EVO class.

The challenge over the years has not just been on the track but also off

Malcolm Has built and supplied over 20 ZX10's for customers to race or simply 'track ride', taken care of there needs and supplied exclusive pakages and tours around the UK and Europe to enable the 'Extended Team' to train on there bikes work on there bikes and also give expert tuition and guidance too.

Personal sacrifices are normal in this sphere, but few have given as much, but the rewards have been great and totally worth it. Malcolm is a well respected member of the superbike comunity In the UK and also abroad.

Malcolm was asked to provide a dosiere on the old BSB privateer class and produce a list of recomendations for the class to evolve, into something else. After consideration the rules were decided upon and now 'Privateer racing' is in its current form the "EVO Superbike class".

The eyes of the racing world are currently following ithe classes progress, because budgets are becoming smaller and closer racing is necessary to provide a good spectacle, so the EVO class was born.

This kind of position for Malcolm amungst the "Head shed of the BSB organising Body" has help during negociations for the new team and a new project.

At the end of 2010, Malcolm was asked to build a new Kawasaki ZX10R 2011 with a competative EVO Solution for the 2011 season.

The challenge to be competative is always there, but MAR is confident it can supply a good package using the lessons it learned during 2010 BSB EVO season which MAR was leading inside  the 'Main BSB  Class'. Atthe season's half way point MAR was leading the class by some 24 points ahead of the Factory supported ultra fast BMW!

That was quite an achivement in its own right but more succes came as MAR reached a high level often finnishing in the top 15 amungst the factory supported bikes. That was a bonus with a memorable 11th place at Oulton Park.  Many podiums and the double win at Mallory Park the 'home circuit' stick in the mind the most exciting. Truely fantastic.

So as the racing is about to start all over again for this year 2011 and the Spain test is looming for the End of the month in Categena, Malcolm is hard at work using all of his resorces both in Hungary  plus the. With the help of partners 'The Usual suspects' in the UK.

So if you are a long term fan of the team MAR, or  a past team member or MAR, perhaps even one of the many New Friends of MAR Kawasaki in Hungary may we ask that you please join us in a our progress, as we attempt to win the EVO class at BSB once more as we embark on the new season , riding the Superb New 2011 Kawasaki ZX10 R.

"Its the ride of your life"
